Every two weeks throughout the winter our head chef Khadija Essaadi offers you a variable selection of her favourite dishes at the Jardín del Califa.

Mixed leaf salad with laban and sumac balls and marinated shrimp with radish stems seasoned with coriander sauce €10,50
Moroccan pea soup with Feta Puff Pastry €7.50
Suckling lamb with apricots and nuts served with sweet rice and its sauce €18,50
Turkey leg stuffed with nuts and dried fruits with sautéed fennel €17,00

From October to May here at the Jardín del Califa we offer a range of Chef's specialties as chosen and prepared by Khadija Essaadi our restaurant manager and executive Chef. Every two weeks the suggestions menu changes with five new different dishes on the menu including one of our extra special desserts. We love to offer some classics such as 'Roast chicken with clementines and Arak' or 'M’Hencha - A pastry spiral of fish, squid and prawns with a seafood sauce' and sometimes something a little different such as 'Quail with grapes, honey and za'atar'. If you are a vegetarian then we always have something special to offer such as the 'Cous cous of Fennel sautéed with Tomato and Sumac' or a 'Mango and roasted beetroot salad with Feta cheese' or our wonderful 'Shawarma of cauliflower with pomegrante, pinenuts and rose petals' . The lunch hours are quiet during the week in winter - just drop in. For weekends and dinner we recommend you book in advance - we are always busy!
